How it works
No accounts, no cloud, no subscription to a maps service. Everything happens on your phone.
Plan the ride in Google Maps and paste the link — long or short. Or open a GPX or KML from your favourite planning tool. Apex Notes extracts the track and stores it as a stage.
Every change of direction is measured and graded from flat to hairpin, exactly as rally pace notes do. Long, sweeping curves are recognised as such. You choose the scale your head works with — 6, 9 or 12 levels — and whether 1 or 6 means tight.
A fixed “200 m before” is wrong at 40 km/h and wrong at 120. Apex Notes computes the lead time in seconds from your live speed and groups bends that arrive together into one note. Dangerous bends get a second, closer call at a higher pitch — and a haptic pulse if you want one.
Three preview paces to hear how the notes will sound before you go.
Simulation mode replays the route at the pace you pick, reading the notes and showing the roadbook, so you can tune the settings on the sofa. On the road, one tap starts live navigation; “Resync” snaps back to the nearest bend if you take a detour.

A separate app on its own phone, independent of your setup. It runs next to a Crisartech, Blunik, Rallymeter, Rabbit Rally or any other regularity system — and comes built into Rallymeter Ultra.
Routes and notes live on your device. Export to CSV, KML or text whenever you want.
English, Spanish, Catalan, French, German and Italian. Metric or imperial units.
iOS and Android. Voice goes out over Bluetooth to a helmet intercom, earbuds or the car stereo.
On open roads Apex Notes helps you anticipate: slow down before tight and dangerous bends, keep your eyes on the road. It never replaces your attention, road signs, traffic rules or speed limits, and map data may not match the road on the day.
iOS and Android beta opening soon. Leave your email and we’ll send you an invite.
